1. How do I place an order?

To begin shopping, simply choose a category and click. Once inside, you can browse through and add items to your shopping basket or click on "more information" to magnify the image and receive additional information before ordering. You can also search for a particular item by name using our search function.

The product description page contains detailed information about an item such as size, weight and color, and may include an interesting look into its use, production method, and the part of Spain it comes from. By clicking "View Shopping Basket" you may review your entire order. Here you may edit or delete items by clicking on the appropriate button.

At this point you can continue shopping or go on to checkout. You may cancel your order by emptying your shopping basket.

We process orders within two business days and then ship based on the shipping method you selected. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday excluding legal holidays in Spain.

It is important to note that, as our home page says, we offer fine products direct from Spain. We are located in Madrid which allows us to work directly with the artisans and suppliers of our products. That helps to ensure quality and permits us to offer an interesting assortment at interesting prices.

We work with a Spanish bank and Visa International and work in the European currency, the euro. As we focus on markets primarily outside of Spain, we offer product prices in US dollars and other world currencies which are translated into euros for our bank and Visa International, and then billed to your card in the local currency of your country. The result is that, just as with purchases made in another country, when you receive your credit or debit card statement, the amount billed from The Olive Branch Traders, S.L. (at spain's parent company) may not reflect the exact amount that appears on your invoice, it may even be less. Though it is unlikely, in the event that that amount exceeds your invoice amount by 3%, we will be happy to refund the difference. 5. Shipping and Handling Pricing and Information

at spain offers 3 shipping options for orders outside of Spain:

Express - Speedy and reliable, Express deliveries will arrive approximately 2 days after they have been sent (depending on destination) and allow you to track your order while the package is en route.

Spain's Postal Service Air Delivery - Packages shipped by air with Correos, Spain's national postal service, will arrive in approximately 8 to 10 days outside of Continental Europe, though guaranteed delivery times are not offered by the company and during busy periods delays are not uncommon. All packages are insured and certified.

Spain's Postal Service Surface Delivery - The most economical of the three shipping options, surface delivery by Correos, Spain's national postal service, can take up to 8 weeks and is sent by boat. All packages are insured and certified.

6. Customs Information

Our research indicates that the products we offer should not be detained in customs for any reason. at spain - The Olive Branch Traders, S.L. can not be held responsible for any delays related to customs. Any applicable duty and or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and will be billed separately by the shipper. We recommend contacting your specific customs office with any questions.

7. Can I track my order?

If you choose DHL as your shipping option, you will be able to track your order with the tracking number we send you with your order confirmation. You can track it directly from the DHL web page or by calling your nearest DHL office.

Spain's national postal service, Correos, does not currently offer direct tracking of orders sent by air or surface mail. Orders may be tracked no sooner than one month from the date of shipment for regular mail, and eight weeks for orders shipped by surface mail. In the unlikely event that the arrival of your order exceeds the stipulated time mentioned above, e-mail us at and we will be happy to check the delivery status of your order.

8. Returns Policy

Items purchased from at spain may be returned within 30 days of purchase, 90 days if the order is sent by surface mail outside of Europe. Following your notification by e-mail to us of your intent to return products, please repack your unused merchandise, enclose a copy of the invoice, certify and insure the package and send it to:

We will refund the amount of the items returned to your credit card account once we receive the merchandise in the same condition in which it was sent. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All returns must include return address and phone number.
